Groups Offered

Mother Groups

Gain support, perspective and insight for your specific parenting challenges. An individualized and affordable approach with support to suit your family needs. Small groups of parents meet twice a month for 90 minutes to engage in discussion and receive information that is both educational and empowering. Practicing at home is expected in order to effect positive change for parenting with greater confidence and calm and with less reactivity, guilt and inconsistency. Real life scenarios called parent-child exchanges are often used in the process of teaching effective behavioral management that promotes maturity and accountability in children. The groups are suitable for parents of challenging children, i.e. children with special needs, as well as for any parent who is striving to raise their children with greater consistency and confidence.
